Overview
My first 14 years (1984-2001) of business experience was as an employee and included 5 years of telecommunications management followed by 12 years employment as a telecommunications program manager. In these capacities I provided department, financial and personnel management. I have shown a consistent contribution in generating major cost savings by effective long term contract negotiations, efficient scheduled buying / delivery activities, systematic re-engineering reviews, on-site consignment of material and improved material flow.
I left my position as Corporate Telecommunications Manager in 1989 and became a senior telecommunications program manager with the goals to gain increase technical and management experience and to expand the areas of my business technology involvement.
The following years of my work experience was as a technology program manager, in the capacity of an employee, as a contractor and as an independent consultant. These assignments encompassed the management of customer telecommunications technology systems and networks involving project, technical and vendor personnel. In these assignments, I focused on providing the most technologically reliable solutions to address all of the customer application requirements. I have been actively involved with all aspects of engineering, contract negotiations and service level agreements, interfacing directly with vendor management to obtain the most cost effective and timely application solutions.
